"Peak Moment: Community Responses to a Changing Energy Future" may well be the first television series on the topic of "peak oil" and positive responses to energy decline.
The weekly half-hour program features energy news with Rick Hartmann, followed by host Janaia Donaldson's conversations with guests about local food production, renewable energy, transportation alternatives, sustainability, economic localization, personal responses, and other topics. How can we thrive, build stronger communities, and help one another in this time of transition?
This APPLE project is produced by Janaia Donaldson and directed by Robyn Mallgren of Yuba Gals Independent Media, and crewed by APPLE members, using the facilities of Nevada County TV.
Peak Moment airs in the Grass Valley area on NCTV cable channel 11 on Thursday nights at 7 pm, and Tuesdays at 3:30 pm. The programs are available by DVD and on the internet through Global Public Media (Click Here)
